Morgan Hill...from his family
Not having spoken with some of you for some time, our family wishes to send the following announcement which hopefully explains our distance in the last couple of years. Thank you all for your understanding.
OBITUARY MORGAN BRUD DAVID HILL It is with deep sadness and adoration, that we announce that Morgan, the heart and light of our family, passed away on February 1, 2005, at his home in Montreal, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 25, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta. Morgan was the beloved youngest son of Hammie and Terry Hill. He is forever the cherished brother of Hamnett, Austin, Lindsay (predeceased), Jeremy (Karen), Darcy, Ashley (Ted Kelly), Jaffray, and devoted uncle to Brittan and Teigan Kelly. Morgan graduated from Calgary Academy where he was the student body president. He later moved to Montreal where he started his own company. Morgan will be remembered forever for his beautiful spirit, brilliant mind, great humour, and endless courage and strength that carried him through all his days. Fighting for life to the very end, he redefined the word hero to all of those who witnessed his battle with colon cancer. Special thanks to friends and loved ones, for their support including Kelly, Shannon, Danny and Morgans' medical team Always loved and forever remembered, you are our hero. In lieu of flowers remembrance may be made to Morgans' Hope Memorial Fund for adolescent and young adult colon cancer research, c/o The Foundation of the Greater Montreal, 1 Place Ville-Marie, suite 1508, Montreal, Quebec, H3B 2B5. 514-866-0808. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, at the Church of the Messiah Unitarian, 5035 de Maisonneuve W. (corner Claremont), Montreal at 3 p.m. Followed by interment in Calgary. A memorial reception will be held Friday, February 11, from 7 to 9 p.m.
